Scrap Pink a HUGE success!!!
Sorry this post is so long in coming! Our Scrap Pink weekend was a HUGE success! We enjoyed the weekend with 23 great women and our raffle raised $160.00 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. Enjoy the pictures!

Scrap PINK t-shirts available for pre-order
Ladies,
The pictures above are a preview of our Scrap PINK t-shirts that are now available for pre-order. Sorry these pictures don't do the shirt justice!! The words below the "BEE-cause we care" are "24 scrapbookers, 3 days, 1 cause". You do not have to be attending the October PINK crop to order a shirt. Please email us with your size by Friday, October 9th and we'll email you back the address to send the payment to. The cost of the shirts is as follows: long sleeve - $15.00 each and short sleeve - $12.00 each. Please email your orders to:

ANNOUNCING JANUARY RETREAT DATES!!!
Hi ladies,
Hope your summer is going well. Hard to believe it's almost over! Just wanted to let you know that we do still have a couple of openings in our August retreat, August 21st, 22nd & 23rd. Our October retreat is currently SOLD OUT, but we have confirmed our January dates, January 8th, 9th & 10th, 2010.
Even though most things have increased in price, we're still able to provide a great weekend get-away for only $100.00 per person.
A deposit of $50.00 is due within 5 days of registering & the balance is due 2 weeks before the retreat. You may pay all at once if you would like to (when the deposit is due). REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICIES: Please note that any cancellation will result in a loss of entire deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS.If your cancellation is within the 2 weeks prior to the retreat & you have paid in full, you will not receive a refund. A $25.00 credit towards another retreat may be issued at our discretion. "NO SHOWS" RECEIVE NO REFUND.If you are paying by check, please email us @ simplyscrappinretreats@yahoo.com to get the snail mail address.or send Paypal to: tkillough@yahoo.com

Where: Simply Scrappin April Retreat @ Springville Camp
& Conference Retreat House
Why: because one scrappers "junk" is another scrappers "treasure"
REMEMBER WE WILL ALSO HAVE PAGE KITS FOR SALE. THEY ARE $15.00 EACH & COME READY TO JUST ADD YOUR PICTURES.
This is also a great time to get "a look around" one of the Simply Scrappin Retreats. We have openings in August & October so come by, shop the yard sale & look around, you just might want to come to a future retreat
DIRECTIONS: From I-59 north take the Argo exit #148 and turn right to Us 11, Turn left onto US 11 go 4 miles and turn right onto Mountain View Road (there is a large wooden sign for Springville Camp and Conference). Go approx. 3.6 miles, the retreat house is on the right with a white wishing well in the front yard.( If you see the Springville Camp and Conference center you have gone to far, pull in, turn around and we are then the first house on the left)
We'd love to have you drop by.

JUST A LITTLE INFO ON OUR RETREATS
We've had several requests for some general info about the retreats from folks who have one way or another stumbled across our blog, so we thought we'd post this general info again. A Simply Scrappin' Retreat is an all inclusive weekend retreat created especially for you to work on your projects without interruptions from children, work pressures, household chores or phone calls.Come along with your friends and make some new ones while you're there.
COST: still only $100.00 per person

Use of tools (we currently have a Sizzix Sidekick with 5 fonts and several shapes, & a Cuttlebug with embossing templates)
CROPPING ROOM:Once you get here and unpack you can leave your stuff out until you pack up on Sunday, around the clock cropping is available. You will be able to come and go as you please to eat,take a nap or just sit outside and enjoy the country air. (there is a pond behind the house and a nice view from the deck or the back porch swing)

AUGUST & OCTOBER RETREAT DATES :)
We just wanted to announce to you our upcoming retreat dates. We do still have a few openings in April - April 3rd, 4th & 5th, but June is SOLD OUT & we currently have a waiting list. We were going to wait til the Fall to hold our next retreat, but we have had so much "new" interest in our retreats, we decided to "GO FOR IT" and book August & October!!!!!!
August dates are August 21st, 22nd & 23rd
October dates are October 23rd, 24th & 25th
Since we do have a LOT of "regulars" to our retreats, we are going to once again offer a discount on your deposit if you wish to book for the August &/or October retreats. The details are as follows:
If you are coming to either April &/or June your deposit for August &/or October is only $25.00 each to hold a spot in those retreats (ie. - you're coming in April & you want to come in August - send $25.00 to hold your spot or you're coming in April & you want to come in August & October, send $50.00 to hold the spots)
If you're not coming to April or June, the deposit required to hold a spot in August/& or October is the usual $50.00 for each retreat. As always, to be fair to everyone (since we tend to book up quickly), your deposit is due within 5 days of requesting a spot.

Hi Ladies, Just a quick note to let you know that we have a few openings left in April & June. PLEASE email us before sending your money so that we don't accidentally overbook.Also, Lori has designed us a new t-shirt for the Spring/Summer. We love the red, but since it was originally supposed to be aqua we're getting that for the new shirt!
The picture above is the back of the new t-shirt. Sorry it's a little blurry. It's taken me all afternoon to figure out how to get a pdf file converted to a jpeg & then I had the bright idea to just print it & take a picture!!!
The front of the shirt will have the Simply Scrappin' bee on the front pocket area with the words Simply Scrappin' Retreats below the bee. The t-shirts will be short-sleeve and the cost is $15.00. We will take orders for the shirts until Friday March 20th. This is the only order we will be placing for these shirts. We do need pre-payment for the shirts and cannot take paypal, check or cash only.

We have winners!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to Rheba & Debra! They each won a $25.00 gift certificate to an upcoming Simply Scrappin Retreat at the Notorious Scrapaholics retreat that we attended at Mentone this weekend. What a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Met lots of new scrappin friends, ate LOTS of GREAT food, got some scrappin done and now we're PUMPED for April & June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
